I took the picture above last October when my family and I were in NYC at the 9/11 memorial. It was a very neat and touching experience to visit the memorial. The names engraved above are those who did not make it out of the towers. When I saw the names above, it hit me strongly. They weren't just names engraved. They were real people. Beautiful people who had beautiful, normal lives. They were parents, Uncles & Aunts, cousins, neighbors and friends to others, just like me and you.
I'm so glad they get to be honored this way at this beautiful memorial site.
