Cupcakes and sweet things

These past few weeks have been full of Cupcakes,and sweet things! Last week while I was with my Grandma and Grandpa, my Grandpa took me and Evan to a cupcake shop!

We went to Truly,madly, sweetly. The cupcake there were SO GOOD. Wow, so yummy.
This one had Cream/frosting and the chocolate stuff that's called Ganghe.
This one was even better than the first....SOOO yummy. It was called "Marble".




A few weeks ago a cupcake shop in RB opened. It's called Batter up! The pictures and cupcakes are cute.....But not yummy. We weren't impressed and I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon. It was kind of disappointing. At least they were cute!

On to more sweet stuff.....
My mom & Dad were in Chicago last week and my mom got to go the the Chigo "American girl place". She got me these cute cookies! It thought they were soap...but there really cookies. And there yummy too!

On another side note last night I made my FAVORITE treat. Cake pops! Never seen them? Look HERE. You can use and flavor and there SOOOOOOOOOO good. Really. :)

Outside pictures

I love to take pictures outside. Every time I go outside with my camera there is something new that catches my eye. It helps me to relax when I go outside and enjoy nature. Things can be so different looking through my eyes and then when I look through the camera. Here's some of the things in my yard that I found interesting.

Candy anyone?

Last week I had a Halloween party with the YW. It was very short notice and the ONLY day out of like 2 weeks I could do it so I went with it. Like I said it was short notice and I had about 5 days. I wanted to invite more people but It would have been a lot harder since I didn't have very much time. But, Something I really have wanted to do was a candy bar/buffet. You know those table with glasses and jars full of treats & candy? It took some time to find all the candy because I had it color coordinated with Halloween colors. (Green, purple, black, Orange.) And it might look a little small but it was my first candy bar/buffet and there was a TON of candy left over. (and people did take lots.) OK so I will try to catch up on more of my posts soon!

Cupakes!

So tonight I really wanted to make cupcakes.....so I did! I am glad I did because (1. I love cupcakes! 2. I now have something to post about.) Ok, so I just made white cupcakes and then I wanted to try a cream cheese frosting so I went searching for one. I found my recipe at one of my favorite blogs, Kara's cupcakes. I made it and it's pretty good, but not my favorite cream cheese frosting. So that was my friday night fun..... :)
