Festival of lights!

So this Monday Night for FHE we went to the wild animal park for their annual "Festival of lights". This is the last year it will be here. Next year it will be at the Zoo. BTW - these are all took with my great camera!
We got there about 3:00 and waited in line for about 1 1/2 to go on their new "Journey into Africa". (It's like what they have instead of the tram). It really makes you feel like you're in Africa!

Christmas Morning!

So Christmas morning came and Christmas morning passed! And here's what I got!

This Jacket is soooo fuzzy inside. It can be worn reversible and it's my two favorite colors! Lime Green and Brown. I love it.

2 things of flannel bed sheets(my other sheets were soo cold at night) they are so nice and soft. I definitely recommend these! , 2 journals, and pack of polar bear stickers. :-)
A giant lollipop, really good chocolate, an awesome cupcake book , socks, card paper. Plus in my stocking I got other candy and some little things you know gift cards , chap stick etc.
And last but not least , my Favorite gift...................A Really NICE Camera!!!!!
Powershot digital elph. 10 mega pixel! All the pics i have up here were taken from this wonderful camera. I love how the pics turn out. I got the nicest Camera out of my family! lol What was your favorite gift???

Twas the night before Christmas

Today Is the 2nd best day in the world. (Christmas is the 1st!) It's Christmas eve! We still have a lot of more stuff to do : a little more baking , a little more cleaning , a little shopping to do , a little more wrapping and making gifts to do , a few more plates of treats to take to some people and ect. So today Is going to be a busy but fun day!
Tonight most of my moms side of the family will come over. We will have our traditional dinner of Pizza, salad & soda, we will eat, sit around and talk, play read Christmas stories, sing Christmas carols, put on a production of the Nativity Story, and have fun! I thought i would post some pics from our Christmas eve last year. Enjoy & Merry Christmas!!!

The Nutcraker!

One of my Favorite christmas storys is the Nutcraker. Now i dont want to copy my mom's blog post about the story of the nutcraker so you can read what she wrote about it for yourself. Read it here : http://happyhartz.blogspot.com/ go down a couple of posts and you will find it. Each year at our local performing arts center they have a pourduction of the Nutcraker. I love going to it each year and it is amazing that it it put on by kids who go to a local dance academy. I don't have pictures of a few weeks ago when we went to the Nutcraker but here are some pictures from a few years ago after the performence of the Nutcraker.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas........... (Yeah I'm dreaming alright!)

Most of my moms side of extended family lives in Las Vegas. And after seeing lots of posts about how it is snowing in the almost always HOT Las Vegas , how can you not almost long for some white cold snow?? And your probably thinking (If you live in San Diego) Isn't it cold enough?? Yes this 56 degree weather has been cold for me!! But I am tired of these rain storms (At least it's not raining today!) and I say if it's going to stay cold I would not mind some snow. Right?? So in honer of wishing to have some snow here are some pictures from a few years ago of when we were in Utah and it snowed.

This June when i was at my cousins house ( We are very lucky to live sooo close to them. We live just a few blocks away) and I had our Camera so i experimented and took some pics. My cousin Cammi agreed to let me take her picture and pose for me only if i would play a game with her after. So here are a LOT of pics. I put a different color setting this next picture one. 7 days!!

It's hard to believe that just it one week ( 7 days) it's Christmas!!! I LOVE the Christmas season! I love the lights,the Christmas tree's,making cookies,being with family,singing in Christmas choirs,reading Christmas stories , wrapping Christmas present's, leaving presents and cookies on friends doors anonymously, being grateful i know what the true meaning of Christmas is, listening to Christmas music, going caroling and everything you could think of! I have so many memories of Christmas! I will post more about Christmas because i love this time of the year!
