2012 pictures

This year insted of doing "picture a day" I decided that I will take a picture once a week. (It's way easier than once a day!) I started googling ideas and came across a "52 weeks" project. It's where you take a picture once a week based on a theme. I have started to make a list of themes I want to do. Last week's theme was "My favorite time of the day". Mine is when the sun is about to set and the leafs look beautiful!

Life is wonderful.

And - It's a new month!
I pretty excited about that.
I'm ready to blog more and take more pictures! You ready?
I'm doing good so far since it's November 1st and I took some pictures & blogged.
Also this month, I'm making a goal to 1. take a picture every single day this month. No cheating involved. And 2. Miss no days of my everyday early morning (6:00am) church classes. Wish me luck!

So I have to explain about the last picture. I had the camera on self timer and all of a sudden I heard a bee really close to me. I though it might be on me so I didn't move. And for some reason I covered my ear..? And I happened to look right at the camera. Look at my expression! There's your laugh for you today.

My cute notebook I bought. I found it at Walmart. I love, love, love the polka dots!!

In one of my classes for school we were challenged to read the Book of Mormon in 30 days.
(30 days. It's pretty quick. But, it's been an amazing experience!)

On Thursday I was able to go to my schools "Youth Conference". It was heald at a large park (You can even camp there) and it was an all "Outdoors day. It was amazing to be in nature on such a beautiful day!

Sometimes I just need a treat. Doesn't have to be fancy, just some sugar!

Here's what I made. Banana's + melting chocolate + Valentines day sprinkles = that quick treat I really needed.

Okay I got this cute flower in my hair last year from my cousin and I really like it. And I needed to show you. So here you go!

And tonight I got to go eat dinner with my Mom, my Sis in law & my Niece.

This is my Niece.

I think she is the most adorable child ever!

10 things on the 10th

1. I have SOOO much to blog about!! Well kind of... I just have to blog about our visit to the northern rim of the grand canyon (Amazing!) and out trip to Utah, but I have a ton of pictures!!

2. For now here is a picture of some flowers I took at the grand canyon. I liked how it turned out!


3. Since I posted a pic from the grand cayon here is one from Utah! Here is my cousin's son Max. I love this kid!! He is so funny and he is a poser. (I also went to an awesome cupcake shop you all know I love.... but more on that later!)


4. A few weeks ago I started Seminary! I thought it would be super hard for me because I really don't like waking up in the morning till 9:00. Really! But so far it has been fine as long as I go to bed earlier than I used to. I have a awesome teacher and all of the freshmen girls in my ward are in my class!

5. On Thursday I started all my classes at the school I go to called MSA. I am taking two classes there. The 1st one is called "Pryrimd project". It's all about Math & science, patterns wondering about things (and learning about them) and then finding the answers. My 2nd class is called "Classical acting". If you have taken two years of Shakespeare you can be in this class. It's about acting, Shakespeare works and other classics. (I am taking other classes too, but the ones I'm taking at MSA started on Thursday. )


6. I am really ready for fall so I can do more baking and crafts! I have ideas from other blogs so I am going to make a list of great treats and crafts to make. Here's an Idea I love. Isn't that so easy but cute?!

7. Okay kind of boring but.... This is my Flicker page if you want to see my pictures. It doesn't have annything new on it but it will maybe this weekend!

8. So we went to the beach like twice this summer (Sad I know, but we forgot and there wasn't great weather for the beach. We'll be sure to go this month!) but one of the times I went I got this sunset shot I liked!


9. I want to get back to blogging regularly. Like once a week at least. It could be pictures or just writing. I just put it off a lot of times! I want to post a lot so someday I can make a blog book from all my pictures!

10. Okay I saved this for last! This great lady we know does musicals for groups of friends that want to do a play. She hasn't done one in a long time but she decided to and today were the auditions. (Everyone gets a part). Oh and the play she picked was "The wizard of Oz". The 2 people I wanted to be in the play was Glinda the good witch and The wicked witch". She kept the group super small so we could all have more parts and more lines.

I have never had a super mean/bad part in a play before so it should be fun! I am working on my voices and my evil cackle! :)

Happy Birthday to Me! (Can you see the pictures now?)

FINALLY! I spent a long time trying to get the pics to show up... so I'm hoping they do. (Oh and after the last picture there's a little white box that won't go away. Just so you know it's not a picture that you didn't see or anything).

So my birthday was back in July and I never blogged about it so I guess I will now. I had no idea what I wanted to do on my birthday and no plans which is so not like me at all. But it all it was a good day.

I started the day off with cinnamon rolls and then opening some presents. My first gift was an I pod! My mom got me a purple one but then I changed my mind and wanted a pink one so we went and exchanged it for a pink one. I also got the I home.. sorry not pictures.

I also got this super cute book written by the same people who wrote Hello cupcake. You will want it!
My next gift was.... (No not cupcakes) but these amazing cupcake wrappers that stay bright and don't fade when you bake them!! I got like six boxes of different kinds. :)

Then we were off to visit two cupcake shops! The first one we went to was called "Baby cakes". Here is my and my friend Natalie.

And my Red velvet cupcake from "Baby cakes". SO after eating our cupcakes (During different times throughout the day) we decited that we all liked "Baby cakes" cupcakes the best!

Then I had an easy going afternoon at home and we exchanged my I pod for the color Pink.

For dinner we had take out PF changs lettuce wraps (THE BEST THINGS EVER!)

And ate at this beautiful little park that was hidden away.
It has a waterfall and ducklings! By the way the ducklings loved the brown rice we gave them. :)
And since we were so close and I love this store we stopped at....

Then on Sunday we had a Family dinner and A Nothing bunt cake. White choc raspberry.. SO good. And that was my birthday!

"February" Collage

I promised my "February" collage.... So here it is! The pictures are not in any order of the right date, but that's okay. It was really a big pain to do this collage and then get it to post on here (Really it was!), but I hope you enjoy it! I just realized that most of my pictures have to do with Nature or food!! :)

A picture a day

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't been that great at blogging all the time... But I promise you that I HAVE still been taking pictures. I decided that I wanted to try and take at least 1 picture (or more) a day. So Far it has been pretty good and I've only cheated a couple of times and of course I always take another picture for that day that I missed! At then end of the month (tomorrow!) I'm going to do a big collage of all the pictures I've taken in Feb and then post it on here! But for now Here are a couple of pictures I've taken this month that I think are cool.
