chicken pasta salad

Today I thought I'd post a recipe because I haven't really posted any recipes on my blog yet and who doesn't like to get a new recipe and try it out? This recipe is perfect for a summer day and warning : It makes a TON! Great to serve to a big crowd. This recipe is easy, yummy and sooo refreshing!

Chicken pasta salad

6 cups diced cooked chicken

1 bunch celery, finely diced (squeeze out juice)

1/4 grated onion (juice squeezed out) OR 3 grated onions

1/12 - 2 cups mayo

2 cups shredded cheese (Cheddar, jack, sharp)

6 Tablespoons lemon juice (pulp and all)

1 lb. pkg small shells

Cook al dente and rinse in cold water.

Combine and refrigerate. Make a day ahead.

Enjoy!

He's off!

One moment he's here on a San Diego beach watching the sunset......

Th next moment he's giving kisses....

The next moment he's at the airport with his bags packed all ready to go.....

And before you could realize......he's off to be a missionary!

Ryan left on Tuesday morning to fly up to Utah. He spend the night with my uncle and then Wednesday afternoon my uncle, aunt and cousin took him to the MTC. I left Tuesday morning too to go to girls camp! (I'll right about that later.) So I said goodbye to him Tuesday morning before he left. We've all wrote him letters from the "Dear elder" website and a letter came in the mail today addressed to "Mother Dear". :) My moms gone most of the day today so when she comes back she can open it.

At the beach

On Monday evening we went to the Beach to see the sunset! This is a picture of Ryan.

How do I describe this picture? I love it!

Ok......yeah, FYI i don't know these people but I liked how it would look as a picture so I took a picture! (Dose anyone elts do this too? :)) I also found out it's hard to take pictures of people you don't know with out them seeing you take the picture. But don't worry Nobody saw me. :)

These are just a few examples I did but there are soooooo many great things you can do to your pictures! Really stop what your doing and go download picassa. :)

Flower collage

This is the first collage I have ever made. It has some pictures I took of flowers. Collages are so much fun to make so I'll be making some more soon!

photography class

Sorry I haven't posted for a while! I've been busy or had nothing to blog about. You know how it goes....... So anyways here's a post for you all. (Especially Megan ):)

I started taking a photography class today from Sis Fallentine!
She is an amazing photographer and can't wait to go to the rest of her classes! We learned a lot today about Picassa (Photo editing program). We already had it on our computer but she taught us sooo many new cool things you can do! If you don't have it and take a lot of pictures I recommend it! I have already done some editing and it is awesome. Plus It's free! I borrowed my brother's D60 today for the class and I took a few pictures but I haven't been able to practice very much cuse he hasn't let me.......but for now here's a few photos. (These are taken with the D60).

MORE cupcakes!

Ok I know I just posted about my cupcakes but I made more a while ago and so I have to post them! My mom was visiting a girl in primary who was Turing 8 and so I made her some cupcakes to take to her. I din't even relize but we have so many cute sprinkels!

Just some self portaits
