Favorite old Tv shows

Well here we are finding ourselves living in the 21st century. One of 21st century peoples favorite things to do is to watch T.V. And most of us have Cable. I said MOST of us. Well we are one of the very few people who do not have cable. We turned it off lots of years ago and are now used to not getting cable. And really I don't even mind. We get some stations like KPBS and a few others. I mostly like watching dvds and movies......But My favorite movies are the old TV shows! I LOVE them! My Grandma & Grandpa have cable and I so I saw a lot of these shows on T.V land. My dad also buys a lot of "Old" movies too! I have 5 of my favorites so you can see them. I don't think most kids even know about these great shows! (I think they are better then the dumb tv shows with NO point at all to them). I have 5 of my favorites so you can see them. I don't think most kids even know about these shows but I'm glad I do.
# 5 - Laurel & Hardy
I first saw a Laurel & Hardy at an orgon concert down town San Diego. It was really cool! They had the orgon playing while they showed the movie! Yes, they are black and white and most of them don't talk just have words. And I do have do to admit sometimes I get board if it is a slow episode.

Pay It Forward

Hi guys! Me & My Mom are doing a pass it on/ pay it forward contest. Please read below and join in on the fun! But remember leave a comment on my MOM'S blog. NOT MINE. Thanks and have fun!

PAY IT FORWARD!
How it works: The FIRST THREE people to leave a comment on my MOM'S blog post will receive at some point during this year a handmade gift from me and my mom. Were doing it as a team. What it will be and when it will arrive will be a total surprise--to both of us.

The CATCH is that YOU MUST PLAY TOO! Before you leave your comment on my moms blog, write a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going (you can cut and paste these instructions). Then come back and let us know that you are going to play, (Remember on my moms blog.) and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift. It's THAT easy!

Remember, only the FIRST THREE comments will qualify. Good luck!

A wonderful experience

Today was out stake conference. But not any old normal stake conference. We had a special visitor today. Our special visitor was one of the 12 apostles! L. Tom Perry came to our stake conference and spoke to us this morning!

It was such a special experience and I don't want to ever forget about the time Elder Perry came to our stake conference. Our conference stated at 10:00 but we got there at 8:00 to get a soft seat. We got of of the last few soft seats! Just a little after 8:00 when we got there people were already sitting in the back of the church. And I was so Glad we got there when we did!

L. Tom Perry was our last speaker (Save the best for last!) we also had a mission president and his wife and our temple president. L . tom perry talked about the importance of missionary work. He then Invited the mission president to come stand next to him. Elder perry said " Now do you have Testimony of missionary work? The mission pres said "Yes I do" and L. tom perry then he stepped away from pulpit and said "OK." And then the mission pres shared his testimony. Elder perry surprised ALL of us! He even surprised the mission pres! Then he talked about the temple and asked the Temple Pres to come join him. Guess what? Same thing as Mission pres. He asked him if he had a testimony and the the temple pres bore his testimony. He then told us how he had been a Stake presided and then how he was called as one of the 12 apostles. He then told about all the Prophets (that had been the prophet since he was a 12 apostle and how he gets to work with them and how wonderful they are.)

All through his talk he said funny things and made us laugh. He had a wonderful smile that I think that even on the WORST days would all make us happy. Just him being there, his presence I had the spirt with me and was happy. There is not really a way I can describe his smile expat what I told you. His smile just lighted up everything!. Maybe a good way to describe it is you could see love he had for everyone in his smile. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and I liked his talk the best! The picture of him I put up does not really even show how wonderful his smile really is. You just have to see him in person.

And then at the end of conference RIGHT after the prayer a line gathered to go go shake his hand. I got in that line quickly I didn't have to wait to long. I got to shake his hand and He was so friendly and asked me how I was doing. It was so cool just to be able to shake his hand, a apostle of god. Evan told him he enjoyed his talk and Elder perry said "I'm glad you liked it!". And he said to Aaron " Hello future missionary!" And Aaron said "I'm preparing!". Like I said he said everything with a smile and I loved his sense of humor! It was such a good experience and I'm so glad L. Tom Perry could come!

Friday fun

Yesterday I went over to my friends house. We both love taking pictures so almost the whole time we took pictures! Here are some of my favorite ones. I took pics of her and she took pics of me! I like this pic because the flowers are more in focus and my friend is a little blurry. I really like this one she took of me with the blossoms in the background!
We would jump on the trampoline while we took pics and I LOVE this one I got of me!
I took this one of me. I set it down on their wall and put a timer in the camera.
Against the palm tree.
We would sit on her fence and take pics of each other.
Black and white photo
