Here I come Utah!

This is one of our first real trips with out Ryan!
Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for a while! And sorry I'm not going to be posting for another while! I going to Utah today! First to ceder city to my 2nd cousin Shay's baptism and we we get to see lots of family! My cousin Jenny (Shay's mom) Is a amazing artist! Please look at her great work Here. Then from her blog you can go to her website too! Anyways We will see lots of my cousins and my aunt and uncle too! And then on to Orem Utah were we'll stay at my aunt Susan and uncle Dave's house. We will yes get to see lots of family on my dad's side and I think some on my mom's side too. I will also be updating my card blog as soon as I get back from Utah! So Yes I'm sure I'll get board on the car trip up (which reminds me I have to go finish getting stuff ready) and I'm sure I'll be taking some more random pics of myself! Who doesn't do that?? (Well besides grownups) So have a great weekend everyone! I'll be back on Tuesday!

Banners, Banners everywhere

My Mom's very talented Cousin Kristin (see her blog here) had a contest on her blog. And my mom won the contest and the prize was a homemade banner of our choice! She makes Beautiful banners! (If you go to her blog she has a very cute Valentines day banner)We decided on a birthday banner (one that could be used for a girl or a boy) and she was so great she made us a boy and a girl one! She sent us tons of ribbon and we got to assemble it. We even bought some more ribbon to add on to the banner. So Here it is! (You have to comment and tell us how cute the banner is!) A very special place

Yesterday I got to go someplace very special.
Although I had to wake up at 5:30 got dressed in nice clothes, waited in a parking lot very cold for about 10 min and then drove about 1/2 an hour to get to this place it was all worth it. Any guesses Where I got to go?? I got to go Here.

I got to go to the temple! Are YW & YM (Young women & Young men) went to the temple to do Temple baptisms. Some things that made it even more special were : We had a couple who were new converts who got to go to the first time with us, A lady in our ward put in a BUNCH of names and we got to do them, We saw a man who was getting baptized for his Brother, When we were baptized we each got to do 15 names, And we saw a man who was Spanish and got baptized in Spanish! There is also something that people say that when you are in the baptismal font to look up at the chandelier. Well I have forgot to do so both times and this time is was so happy I remember! It was pretty!

If you have ever got to go do temple baptisms before you know it is really neat. A few years ago our stake president asked all the primary children to write him a letter explaining and telling him why they loved the temple. I wrote a letter and then shared two poems I had wrote. I would like to share them with you too!


I want to go to the temple

The temple is a place of god.
Of beauty and power that is so strong.
My heart is full with songs of joy,
I want to go to the temple some day.
And when I go that glorious day,
I'm not sure what I'll say.
My heart will be filled with strength and beauty,
And I will no longer need to worry.

And see it's beautiful glory.

In the temple I can be married and sealed to my family.
I will go to the temple some day,
And when I do I will feel it's power and glory shine upon me.
I want to go to the temple right now,
But... I guess I'll have to wait a while.
And on that day when I am there,
I will look in your eyes and say,
I told you that you would come some day.
I kept that promise sure and safe.

The Book of Mormon

The book of Mormon is very true.
It's clear as water that is blue.
The book of Mormon is like a kite,
It soars high with strength and might.
The book of Mormon I KNOW is true.
And heavenly father knows that too.
So is you read it day and night,
you will be happy all your life.
Heavenly father loves me & you,
And he wants us to believe it and understand it too.
Id we read it we will know,
All the things we need to follow!

Hello Cupcakes!

Ever since my Grandma told me all about how she and my Grandpa used to own a bakery and how she loved all the baking and frosting decorating I was interested in that kind of stuff. My Grandma then bought me a cake decorating kit so I could try it out and for her next birthday that she had I made her the birthday cake! It had clusters grapes. Her favorite thing to make on cakes when she owned the bakery. I love decorating Cakes and Cupcakes but to tell you the truth I kind of forgot about it and have not done it in awhile! So last night I wanted to and so I did! I didn't use any tips or decorating bags (like I have in the past) and decided to try something new. I got this great Cupcake book for Christmas. It's called " Hello Cupcake". I definitely recommend it if you like to bake! So I did what they said to do (In the book) and just used a plain old ziplock bags to make my frosting bag. But i cut the tip of the bag a certain way and I loved how the cupcakes turned out! What do you think? Click on them to enlarge them it you want to. And you probably wouldn't believe but I had some pretty willing people who wanted to eat my cupcakes! And this morning afternoon the last of em were ate!

Morning flowers with dew

Christmas morning I went out side to try our my camera and found some pretty flowers with dew on them. So I took these Pics and here's what I got! The bottom one I took was inside my house in a vase of flowers. Do You like them?

4. Wrote 2 papers one on The right of free speech and the other on men with faith and character or men with knowledge.

7. Listened to Mom read The Horse and His Boy
